The Count was Charlie Chaplin's fifth film for Mutual Films. Co-starring Eric Campbell and Edna Purviance, it is a story about Charlie and his boss finding an invitation to a party from a real Count. Each try to play the role as the Count instead to catch the rich heiress played by Edna

Thanks. Brings back the very best of memories in my life of going to a theater in or near Santa Monica with my dad to watch silent films. There was always a Chplin reel. Chaplin was my favorite. I even won several awards at talent contests and at school impersonating Chaplin. I would make my own tramp costume and write my own skits. Thanks much! This makes a sad old man remember better days. (I really miss my old man.)
